Davolee is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his raw storytelling, street-inspired sound, and lyrical versatility. Raised in Isolo, Lagos, Davolee grew up in a humble background where financial struggles shaped his determination and artistry. Before gaining recognition, he supported himself by doing menial jobs, including selling sachet water, while honing his rap skills and posting freestyles on social media.

His breakthrough came with the viral single “Festival Bar”, a freestyle that showcased his unique blend of Yoruba street lingo and conscious rap. The buzz from this track caught the attention of Olamide, who signed him to the legendary YBNL Nation label in 2016. Davolee went on to feature on Olamide’s hit record “Pepper Dem Gang”, which cemented his name in the Nigerian music scene.

After leaving YBNL in 2019, Davolee continued to build his career independently and later under New Nation Muzik. He released standout singles such as “Way” and “Lock Up” (featuring Zlatan), earning a reputation as one of the most consistent voices in street rap and Afro hip-hop.
