About

Mário Gomes (mariogomes_gtr) is an Angolan musician, guitarist, composer, and music producer known for his instrumental work. Born in Luanda, Gomes started playing electric bass at age 10 and switched to the guitar two years later. 
In 2022, he gained international recognition after participating in a UNESCO ResiliArt/Jazz Day Exchange in Newark, USA. He regularly shares his work and professional updates through his social media profiles on platforms like Instagram and SoundCloud. In August 2025, he headlined the “Concerto Tocar Angola” event in Luanda.
